The Stittsville Food Bank relies entirely on the local community for food and donations.
Food Donations
Food donations can be placed in any one of our seven Stittsville Food Bank drop-off bins. They are located at:
Food Basics, 5703 Hazeldean Road;
Brown’s Independent Grocers, 1251 Stittsville Main Street;
Sobey’s Grocery Store, 6315 Hazeldean Road, off Carp Road;
Giant Tiger, 6081 Hazeldean Road, Jackson Trails Mall;
Cardel Centre (formerly Goulbourn Recreation Complex), 1500 Shea Road, near registration desks and
Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1489 Shea Road.
Food Drives
If you are part of an organization that would like to hold a food drive on our behalf, please call us at 613-831-0451. We would like your help!
We can make arrangements for the food to be picked up or you may bring it to us. Your group may want to hold a food drive that could help us meet the demand for special programs or in-need items. (e.g. Christmas hamper items, toiletries, household items, breakfast food, etc)
Financial Donations
You can donate money by sending a cheque to our post office box at the address below. Please include your name and return address. The Stittsville Food Bank is a registered charitable organization, a tax receipt will be issued and returned by mail. As per the Canadian Revenue Agency, tax receipts will only be issued for donations of $15 or more.

The United Way Campaign is another way you can assist. You can specify that you wish your donation to be directed to the Stittsville Food Bank. Also, you may donate through Canada Helps; please note that Canada Helps keeps a percentage of your donation to cover their administration fees.
