Brown Bear Day Cares’ School Age Cubs spent the past several months discussing the importance of helping others and contributing to society. With these discussions in mind, they developed and created a lemonade stand to raise money for the Food Bank. They successfully made $100 in sales, which was matched by Brown Bear. During our visit, they proudly provided a $200 cheque for the Food Bank. After their visit from Theresa & Shad Qadri, they sat for lunch, grateful for the food they had before them. It was an inspiring morning.
